Hi, I'm Kate! I am a visual artist from Co. Laois, currently based in Limerick, Ireland. My multidisciplinary practice reflects my curiosity and expresses my interest in storytelling through; printmaking, drawing, video/moving image, and found objects. I am a member of the Limerick Printmakers (LP).
In 2023, I graduated with a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art Printmaking and Contemporary Practice from the Limerick School of Art and Design. My Erasmus+ internship in Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice 2024, deepened my interest in more sustainable printmaking. While there, I co-organised the Venice 25 Hour Print Challenge, as part of the LP at 25 International Print Event. I am passionate about teaching, fostering creative communities and organising events.
I co-founded and co-host Shut Up I’m Networking, a podcast centred around discussions with artists about their work, lives, and creative journeys.
